As a Workshop Technician, you’ll carry out diagnostics, repairs, component work, testing and adjustments on Komatsu equipment in our Waikato workshop. You’ll also support rental and used equipment preparation, assist with major maintenance projects, and provide guidance to apprentices and technicians.

Role Located:  Waikato branch
Roster: Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:00pm (40-hour week)

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or overseas equivalent)
  • Strong diagnostic capability across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics and technical documentation
  • Excellent customer service focus and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work independently and produce accurate reports
  • Class 1 licence (Class 2 preferred)
  • Forklift + Working at Heights (or willingness to obtain)
  • Komatsu experience highly regarded
