Remuneration: $95,000 + Super + $20,000 Car Allowance + $5,000 bonus

The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Service Supervisor to join the Komatsu Forklifts team at our Rockhampton Branch.
In this role, you will lead a team of forklift mechanics and apprentices, ensuring the delivery of high-quality maintenance and repair services across Komatsu forklifts and allied equipment. You will play a key role in fostering a professional and supportive team environment while maintaining strong standards across safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Supervise and support a team of technicians/mechanics and apprentices

Allocate daily jobs and manage workloads

Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
-
Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety policies and procedures
-
Promote a strong safety culture within the team

Ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard
-
Monitor job progress and resolve technical issues when required

Schedule service work and manage technician availability
-
Coordinate parts, tools, and resources needed for jobs

Work closely with parts, service advisors, and operations teams
Qualification, Requirements & Skills

Experience in a similar role or may suit a Leading Hand looking for the next career step

Current Drivers Licence

Mechanical trade qualifications (Light or Heavy Vehicle) - Desirable

Proven Leadership Experience

Time management skills

Ability to multitask with conflicting priorities (Operations, HR, Health & Safety, etc)

Demonstrate an understanding of industry safety protocols

Ability to operate a forklift truck

Ability to work unsupervised

Experience maintaining forklifts - Desirable
