The Opportunity:

 

We have an internal opportunity for a Service Administrator to join our Service team. This role is critical in coordinating the day‑to‑day service and administrative activities to ensure customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and timely month‑end close.

 

The Service Administrator plays a key role in supporting our field service workforce, managing work orders and timesheets, liaising with customers, and ensuring compliance with Komatsu systems, processes, and safety standards.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily service administration activities to support field service operations.
  • Manage technician timesheets, work orders, and allocations within Pronto.
  • Ensure all service work orders are accurately completed and closed by month‑end.
  • Liaise with Service Managers and Supervisors on variances, efficiencies, and resourcing.
  • Allocate call numbers and schedule planned maintenance and servicing with customers.
  • Manage purchase orders, goods receipting, and service documentation.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and support incident reporting as required.
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure customer credit compliance.
  • Support payroll inputs including overtime, leave, and non‑productive time.
  • Uphold Komatsu HSE, governance, and privacy requirements at all times.

About you

You will bring:

  • Strong administration and coordination experience, ideally within a service or operational environment.
  • Sound understanding of field service operations and work order management.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines, particularly around month‑end.
  • Confidence using computer systems (experience with Pronto highly regarded).
  • Strong communication skills and a professional customer‑focused approach.
  • Ability to work autonomously while supporting a collaborative team environment.
