The Opportunity
As a Leading Hand with Komatsu, you are an important part of the West Pilbara Shut Team.
With your ability to create a strong team environment you will be responsible for executing shut outages on Komatsu mobile equipment on various sites within the Pilbara and ensuring that teams operate safely and smoothly.
Excellent communication skills are required as you will be leading a small team of technicians, while ensuring outstanding customer service on site.

Annual Earnings: Potential Earning $220k including allowances
Roster: 8 days on 6 days off, 7nights on 7 days off FIFO ex Perth, rotating day and night shift
Role Located: Port Hedland / Pilbara, WA

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Qualified Heavy-duty mechanic with Australian recognised trade papers
Demonstrated post apprenticeship experience
Extensive experience working on Komatsu mining equipment; including WA900-1200 loaders, EWL1850-2350 loaders and 830E trucks and PC5500/4000 Komatsu excavators
RTIO inducted would be advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to safety
Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to provide a high level of customer service in line with our Customer Support Charter
