HD Fitter / Mobile Plant Mechanic

The Opportunity:

Working a 7:7 day‑shift roster (12‑hour days, Tuesday to Monday), you’ll carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Komatsu equipment. You’ll work independently in the field, supported by a national network of technical experts, parts supply, and training resources.

Roster: 7:7-day shift only — 12‑hour days, Tuesday to Monday

Annualised Wages: Competitive Remuneration & Benefits + $28,600 p/annum location allowance paid weekly for technicians who lives in Mt Isa or Cloncurry

Role Located:  Mount Isa – travel to Cloncurry & surrounding area’s

What we are looking for:

• Trade qualification as a Mobile Plant Technician / Diesel Fitter or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
• Understanding of local and mine‑specific HSE and industrial legislation
• Strong diagnostic skills, including onboard system analysis and troubleshooting
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
• Commitment to safety, compliance and mine‑site standards
