The Opportunity
Komatsu is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our Greymouth branch. If you’re a qualified heavy diesel mechanic who thrives on solving problems, working independently, and delivering top-tier service to customers — this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair Komatsu equipment in the field with precision and efficiency.
- Coordinate major site-based maintenance projects.
- Produce clear technical reports and complete job documentation.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining safety and quality standards.
What You’ll Bring
- Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics (or overseas equivalent).
- Class 1 driver’s licence (Class 2 preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Solid computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
