The Opportunity

Are you a hands-on technician who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and being out in the field? Join our Greymouth Field Service team and play a key role in keeping our customers' machines running at their best.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of Komatsu customer equipment, helping us deliver top-notch service while upholding high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

What you will be doing:

• Diagnosing and repairing machines with skill and efficiency.
• Applying your technical know-how to current equipment systems (Komatsu experience a big plus!).
• Testing and adjusting operating systems using manuals and testing tools.
• Writing clear and effective reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Pitching in on big maintenance projects at customer sites.
• Keeping accurate timesheets and job documentation.
• Managing your workload and job scope with minimal supervision.

Location: Greymouth, NZ

What we are looking for:

• Solid customer service skills—you’re someone who gets the job done and keeps the customer happy.
• A strong commitment to safety in everything you do.
• A Class 1 licence (Class 2 would be great too).
• Confidence working solo in the field.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Comfort with computers and Microsoft Office.
• A reliable self-starter with strong time management.
