We are looking for a Regional Apprentice Development Lead to champion the skills development and career growth of our Komatsu apprentices. You will play a key role in delivering hands-on training, mentoring future trades professionals, and ensuring alignment with apprenticeship standards across the business.
This is a highly collaborative and rewarding role where you will work closely with apprentices and various internal and external partners. With oversight of 55 apprentices across 5 regions, you will be central to the success of the Komatsu Apprentice Development Program.
Your core responsibilities will include training delivery, mentoring and coaching apprentices, maintaining accurate training records, program coordination, stakeholder engagement, KPI management and innovation in learning.
Role Located: Melbourne, VIC. We are open to applicants who are located in NSW as well.

What we are looking for:
- Relevant trade or engineering qualifications (electrical or mechanical).
- Experience in apprentice development, training or vocational learning.
- Minimum of 5 years in technical or workforce development roles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to coach and influence across all levels – from apprentices to senior managers.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of modern training and development practices.
- Familiarity with apprenticeship standards and RTO/TAFE collaboration.
- Flexibility to travel across regions.
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment is a plus.
- A current driver’s license is required.
