The Opportunity:

Komatsu Forklift Australia is looking for an organised and customer-focused Service Administrator to join our busy service team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple priorities, and providing exceptional support to both customers and technicians.

As the first point of contact for our service department, you will play a key role in ensuring service jobs are scheduled efficiently, customer enquiries are managed professionally, and administrative processes run smoothly. Roster / Hours: Monday to Friday

The Role:

  • Provide administrative support to the Service Department and Service Manager.

  • Coordinate service bookings and schedule technicians to maximise efficiency.

  • Create, process and close service work orders accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Liaise with customers regarding service enquiries, bookings and job updates.

  • Raise purchase orders, process invoices and assist with service-related documentation.

  • Maintain accurate customer and service records within internal systems.

  • Work closely with technicians, parts and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

  • Deliver a high level of customer service while managing competing priorities.

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities we're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in an administration, service coordination or customer service role.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills with a professional and friendly approach.

  • High attention to detail and strong data entry accuracy.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is advantageous).

  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.

  • Experience within the automotive, transport, equipment or industrial industries is desirable but not essential.
