The Opportunity

 

As a Field Hardware Technician, you'll play a key role in deploying, configuring, commissioning, and supporting iVolve's industry-leading mining technology solutions. Working closely with customers, installers, and technical teams, you'll help deliver successful deployments, provide hands-on training, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure customers maximise the value of their technology investment.

 

This is a highly varied role combining field-based consulting, technical support, customer training, and operational technology across mine sites throughout Australia, with occasional international travel.

 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deploying, configuring, calibrating, and commissioning iVolve technology across customer sites.
  • Partnering with customers and installation teams to ensure smooth, safe and successful implementations.
  • Delivering hands-on training and support, building customer confidence with iVolve solutions.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues both remotely and on-site to keep customer operations running.
  • Monitoring system performance, analyse support trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Building trusted customer relationships by providing expert advice and helping customers maximise the value of their technology investment.

 

About You

You're a technically minded and consultative problem solver who enjoys working directly with customers and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves. You are curious about surface mining and operational technology.

 

You'll ideally bring:

  • Ideally a Trade qualified profession with the ability to interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics and deployment documentation.
  • Experience in operational technology, communications, auto electrical, surveying, engineering or industrial technology is highly regarded.
  • Exposure to mining, heavy industry, telecommunications, machine guidance, fleet management or similar technology is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware and software.
  • The ability to build trusted customer relationships and explain technical concepts clearly.
  • A consultative approach with a passion for delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
  • A willingness to travel to mine sites across Australia, with occasional international travel.
