We're now looking for a skilled PDI Technician to join our Auckland team and help ensure every machine leaves our facility prepared, tested and ready to perform in the field.

Based in Auckland, this hands-on role is responsible for the assembly, fit-out, inspection, testing and commissioning of new Komatsu equipment before delivery to our customers.

 

Working across a broad range of construction, utility and mining machinery, you'll be responsible for ensuring each machine meets Komatsu's high-quality standards and customer-specific requirements. From installing local options and accessories through to conducting functional testing and final inspections, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Role Located:  Auckland Branch – East Tamaki
Roster: Monday to Friday – 7:00am to 3:30pm

What we are looking for:

  • Trade qualified Heavy Diesel, Automotive or Mechanical Technician.
  • Experience working on heavy construction, mining, agricultural or earthmoving equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding capability.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and installation procedures.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Focus on delivering outstanding customer outcomes.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and professional development.
