The Opportunity
We are currently seeking Field Service Coordinator based at our Wollongong branch to co-ordinate, manage & schedule all field service activities for our Field Service Resident Technicians in line with Komatsu standards, policies & procedures.
This includes co-ordination of Technicians, Parts, Contractors & all other relevant parties involved in each job, ensuring it is run efficiently, offering genuine product support to customers at the Branch and on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all service department activities meet HSE standards.
- Support Service Manager in the coordination of work in progress jobs, ensuring invoicing is accurate and any potential disputes are resolved prior to invoicing.
- Maintain Work in Progress jobs under 30 days
- Maintain Warranty Work in Progress and Field Campaigns to ensure 100% of warranty jobs are successfully claimed by achieving all warranty claim KPI measures.
- Issue appropriate documents and work instructions to Field Service Technicians working remotely.
- Maximise labour output utilising Komatsu ICT systems
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of safe work practices, Komatsu Golden Rules contributing to Zero harm.
- Administer timekeeping (job cards etc.) and Timesheets.
- Supply our customers with a friendly, timely and professional response.
- Notify customers of any changes to the delivery date of products or services and update customers on job progress.
- Ensure employees and sub-contractors adhere to the Company’s OH& S requirements.
- Provide technical and product information to staff and customers.
- Understand the Komatsu’s Customer Support Charter & ensure compliance within the service department
What we are looking for:
- Previous Experience in a similar role
- Current Drivers Licence
- Previous supervisory/ leading hand experience or
- Sound liaison skills Strong customer service ability
- Ability to schedule and delegate to a team or individual
- Strong communication skills
- Strong key team player
- Professional self-starter, with high attention to detail
- Ability to lead and mentor a team
- Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge/skill
- Komatsu system experience (advantageous)
