The Opportunity:
As our Field Service Coordinator, you’ll play a central role in keeping our Wollongong service operations running smoothly, safely and professionally. You’ll coordinate daily field service activity, issue work instructions, manage job control, and ensure technicians have the right information, parts and support to deliver high‑quality work on every job.
You’ll be responsible for scheduling and workflow, maintaining quality assurance requirements, ensuring accurate timekeeping and job
documentation, and supporting safe work practices that contribute to Komatsu’s Zero Harm culture. You’ll also liaise with customers, subcontractors and internal teams to keep communication clear and professional.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the operational anchor, the person who keeps technicians productive, customers informed, and the branch running efficiently. What we are looking for:
- Supervisory or leading hand experience in service or technical environments
- Strong scheduling & coordination skills
- Excellent communication and customer liaison capability
- Ability to mentor technicians and support apprentices
- Working knowledge of Quality Assurance and safe work practices
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills; Komatsu systems experience desirable
- A proactive, detail‑driven, professional self‑starter
