The Opportunity
At our Welshpool Remanufacturing Workshop, you’ll play a key role supporting the repair and overhaul of Komatsu components — from hydraulic cylinders or spindles — ensuring they’re returned to “as new” condition.
What You’ll Do
- Assist technicians with tasks in the workshop and yard.
- Source and prepare parts and tooling as required.
- Perform pre-start checks on equipment and machinery.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
- Uphold Komatsu’s high standards for safety, quality, and compliance.
- Take part in ongoing training and development to build your trade capability.
Roster: 7 days on 7 days off, 6AM – 6PM, Wednesday to Tuesday

What we are looking for
- Previous experience as a Trades Assistant or in a mechanical/workshop environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and a passion for hands-on work.
- Current C-Class Driver’s Licence, DG ticket.
- Ability (or willingness) to obtain High Risk Licences such as forklift, overhead crane, or EWP.
- Basic computer literacy and sound communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and teamwork.
