The Opportunity

We seek a people-oriented leader with a talent for mentoring and developing employees to foster a unified and high-performing team. With support and mentorship from industry professionals, you be set up for success to deliver to production schedules & execute work orders to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery standards.

 

In this role, you will guide a team of technicians, trade assistants, and leading hands, overseeing workload planning and scheduling to meet workshop demands, invoicing, safety & quality auditing, all while prioritising safety and continuous improvement.

Roster: 7 days on, 7 days off – 12 hour days

Remuneration: $180,00 pa + 5% bonus + Super

Role Located: Welshpool WA

What we are looking for:

  • Previous demonstrated leadership experience in an operational role
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High standards for safety, quality, and delivery
  • Sound analytical, organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Background in mining, manufacturing or heavy industry not essential
