The Opportunity

We’re seeking a dynamic Trainer – Mining Automation to join our team and deliver high-quality training in Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS).

 

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering training and assessments to internal and external candidates, ensuring they gain the necessary knowledge and competency to operate within highly automated mining environments.

 

You’ll also create an exceptional customer experience by ensuring the smooth use and upkeep of systems, processes, and tools for an outstanding journey for every learner.

 

Plus, you’ll use our state-of-the-art AHS systems to find opportunities for productivity improvements.

Role Located: FIFO to Pilbara ex Perth, with occasional Perth requirements.

 

Roster: 8/6 dayshift only roster (with flexibility)

What we are looking for:

 

  • Individuals who are passionate for learning and helping others succeed.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
  • Practical experience working with Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS).
  • Proven ability to deliver training in a clear, engaging, and effective manner.
  • Exceptional ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using Fleet Management Systems.

 

Desirable (not essential)

  • Experience working in mine site operations.
  • Knowledge of Komatsu products or similar heavy mining equipment.
  • A clear grasp of educational integrity and adult learning principles.
