The Opportunity
As Facilities Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring Komatsu's Western Region sites and branches provide a safe, compliant, and high-quality working environment for our employees and visitors. Working closely with the Facilities Team, you will coordinate a broad range of facilities activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory, statutory, and Komatsu requirements.
This role is integral to the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities, while also supporting continuous improvement across the region.
The Facilities Tech role will including standardised maintenance practices, environmental compliance, and capital and improvement projects in partnership with Corporate Planning.
What You'll Be Doing
- Involved in facilities maintenance and service activities across Western Region sites and branches.
- Supporting compliance with regulatory, statutory, environmental, and Komatsu policy requirements.
- Handling facilities-related administration, contractor coordination, and documentation.
- Assisting with site improvement and maintenance projects.
- Supporting the implementation of consistent facilities standards and processes across the region.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, branch teams, and external service providers.

Role Located: Welshpool
Roster: 5:2 – 38 hours per week + potential overtime
- Relevant trade qualification.
- Previous Handyman experience required
- Current licences, or the ability to obtain licences, for equipment such as forklifts and overhead gantry cranes.
- Current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain one (desirable).
- Sound understanding of workplace safety and HSC.
- Knowledge of MS Office packages
