The Opportunity:

Due to continued growth we have an opportunity for a Technical Support Representative to join our team in Welshpool.

 

You will be involved with service provision, customer relationship management, operational excellence and continuous improvement as part of the Technical Support Team.

 

By providing technical assistance to Komatsu customers, you will assist with improving technology and maximise equipment reliability.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the Technical Lead for all mining class Komatsu Limited wheel loaders, dozers, graders, and excavators
  • Support branches and site representatives for trouble shooting / issue solving to keep high system and machine availability
  • Collect, analyze and visualize machine condition data.
  • Support new machine commissioning testing.
  • Support Technical Manager for continuous improvement or any other projects
  • Provide reports and TSI submission to assist in factory resolution for any technical issues

 

Role Located: Welshpool, WA (with occassional travel to site)

What we are looking for:

  • Hold a recognized mechanical trade certificate
  • Proven experience in a highly technical role
  • Current Driver's License
  • An understanding of maintenance targets including availability, reliability, parts management and component life cycle management
  • Ability to analyse/troubleshoot complicated hydraulic, mechanical and electrical technical problems and recommend solutions
