The Opportunity:

 

Komatsu has an opportunity for a Service Support Manager to lead the operational performance of our Service Support function in Welshpool.

 

Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, you will lead Project Management, Mining Equipment Delivery, Estimations, Warranty, Central Administration, Business Analysis and Commercial Support functions.

 

Working collaboratively with customers, regional and cross-functional teams, you will drive performance across all service support activities, ensuring strong governance and commercially sound outcomes. This role is critical to delivering seamless customer support and service excellence across the region.

 

You will bring a disciplined approach to project management, lead key service support functions, and embed a culture of continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and service quality.

 

Role Located: Welshpool, WA

What we are looking for:

  • Customer-focused and motivated professional with related industry experience
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, with the ability to coach, develop, and build high-performing teams
  • Ability to analyse workplace risks and implement the necessary changes promptly
  • Strong understanding of the service support functions
  • Demonstrated project management capability
  • Commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, reporting, and profit optimisation
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to identify opportunities to grow the Komatsu brand and drive business growth
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across customers, internal teams, and external partners
  • Flexible and responsive, including a willingness to travel regularly and at short notice to support business and customer requirements
