The Opportunity
Ready for your next career move? Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for our next Senior REMAN Engineer. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Komatsu REMAN business. You will do this by leading engineering activities that enhance component reuse, develop innovative repair solutions, and ensure the highest standards of safety, performance, and environmental sustainability.
This role is central to increasing the volume and velocity of REMAN operations while reducing rebuild costs and supporting national facility expansion, product development, and strategic R&D initiatives.
How will you do this:
- By leading Innovation – Develop cutting-edge salvage and repair solutions using advanced technologies like laser cladding and additive manufacturing.
- Driving Sustainability – Reduce environmental impact and support circular economy by extending component life and minimising waste.
- Influencing Strategy – Shape reusability criteria, repair standards, enhance customer value.
- Collaborating Globally – Work with international REMAN and OEM teams to standardise processes while driving local engineering innovation.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (essential)
- Experience with 3D CAD Software
- Working knowledge and understanding of Australian Standards
- Remanufacturing experience (preferred, not essential)
