The Opportunity:

As a Metallurgist Engineer within the Komatsu REMAN business, you’ll lead the development , validation and Implementation of metal reclaim repair processes that uphold the highest standards of safety, performance, and sustainability. This position is key to accelerating REMAN operations, reducing rebuild costs, and supporting national expansion, product development, and forward-thinking R&D initiatives.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years experience working in a manufacturing or similar environment with direct responsibility to develop and support procedures for operations processes
  • Proven experience in repair and salvage engineering, including failure analysis, welding repair, component reusability assessments, and root cause investigations.
  • Proven experience working hands-on in a metallographic laboratory and capable of developing preparation and test methods
  • Experience in metallic coating processes such as laser cladding a significant advantage / mandatory
  • Manage metallurgical laboratory equipment lifecycle, including maintenance, and performance verification, ensuring all instruments are calibrated and compliant with relevant standards, specifications, and quality system requirements (e.g., ISO/ASTM).
  • Establish and maintain calibration schedules, traceability, and documentation to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and audit readiness of all testing and inspection equipment. Add In
