The Opportunity:
Join Komatsu Australia as a Data Analytics Engineer to transform autonomous mining data into dashboards and operational insights.
Work across the analytics pipeline—from raw data ingestion to Power BI visualisation—supporting productivity, safety, and operational investigations.
Your key responsibilities include filtering and structuring raw telemetry data, building data models, and creating productivity, safety, and operational dashboards.
You'll need SQL, Python, and Power BI experience, plus exposure to Snowflake or Databricks.
You'll be part of an inclusive team environment with opportunities to build broad technical capability.

What we are looking for:
- Experience in a Data Analytics Engineer or similar role
- Strong capability in SQL and Python
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and dashboard creation
- Exposure to platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks
- Confidence working with end-to-end data flows, from raw source data through to user-friendly reporting outputs
- Strong adaptability, problem-solving ability and comfort working in an exploratory, fast-evolving environment
- Appreciation for visual presentation and layout in reporting; experience in design-related work would be advantageous
- Familiarity with documentation, version control, or self-directed technical projects will be well regarded
