The Opportunity

We are seeking a customer service focussed professional, with a solid mechanical interest/background, attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of customer service.

 

In this role, you will interpret and supply genuine Komatsu parts to customers across the mining and construction industries, ensuring their equipment operates safely and efficiently.

 

Success in this position requires clear communication, sound computer skills, solid mechanical understanding (or the ability and interest to learn this quickly) and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

 

Take ownership of your work day-to-day as you apply practical problem-solving to deliver reliable outcomes.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Interpret parts for Komatsu mining and construction machinery.
  • Process quotes, sales, and backorders accurately in company systems.
  • Provide prompt and professional service via phone, email, face-to-face interaction, and through Komatsu’s JIRA-based service management system.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and distribution centres to manage availability and delivery.
  • Maintain safe, compliant, and efficient work practices at all times.

 

Roster: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts between 0700 – 1900, plus one weekend back-up day every eight weeks.

 

Role Located: Welshpool, WA

 

Remuneration: $78,000 + 5% bonus + super + benefits

What we are looking for:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude or background in heavy equipment, automotive, or parts.
  • Demonstrated customer service and communication skills.
  • Sound computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Ability to think critically, organise work effectively, and handle workloads accurately.
  • Proven reliability, teamwork, and focus on safety.
  • Current driver’s licence.
