The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional to join our Komatsu Customer Support Centre (KCSC) as an Account Support Representative.
In this role, you will proactively manage a portfolio of construction customers to drive customer engagement, retention, and aftermarket sales growth. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll anticipate customer needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver timely, value-based solutions that keep their operations running efficiently.
You will partner with sales, technical, and marketing teams to provide responsive, insight-led support ensuring every interaction adds value to our customers’ business and strengthens Komatsu’s position as a trusted partner.

Role Located: Welshpool, WA
Roster: Monday - Friday, 38 hours per week
Salary: Base + commission + super
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage a defined portfolio of customers, maintaining regular contact through structured engagement plans.
- Build strong, lasting relationships by providing proactive sales support and aftermarket solutions.
- Prepare accurate quotes and follow up to maximise conversion and retention.
- Use CRM and data insights to forecast needs, identify trends, and drive growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Promote Komatsu’s lifecycle value proposition and support our commitment to operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in customer account management, sales, or parts/service support.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify customer opportunities and follow through.
- Commercial awareness and comfort working with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics or similar).
- Sound computer literacy (Microsoft Suite essential).
- Previous experience in construction, mining, or industrial equipment sectors is highly regarded.
