Regional Distribution Centre Manager

Date:  30 Oct 2025
City:  Welshpool - Distribution Centr

About Us

At Komatsu Australia you’ll be part of an inclusive culture where all our people thrive, reflected in our purpose: creating value together. We encourage people with diverse backgrounds to apply for this role.

The Opportunity

At Komatsu, we power the equipment that builds a better, more sustainable world. Our Welshpool Distribution Centre is the beating heart of our parts supply network — and we’re looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Regional DC Manager to lead the operation into its next phase of innovation and excellence.

As Regional DC Manager, you’ll take the lead of a key logistics hub supporting Komatsu’s customers and operations across Australia. Your mission? To lead a safe, cost-effective, and high-performing warehouse operation, driving operational improvement, team capability, and strategic planning for long-term success.

You’ll play a key role in shaping a positive, high-performance culture — fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across a large and diverse team.

About you

You’re a confident, collaborative leader with strong operational acumen and a passion for continuous improvement. You thrive in dynamic environments and know how to motivate teams to perform at their best.

You’ll be both hands-on and strategic — equally comfortable leading from the warehouse floor as you are influencing at the leadership table. This is your chance to make a tangible impact on service delivery, people culture, and supply chain innovation.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience leading large-scale DC or warehouse operations (preferably in construction, mining, or heavy industry).
  • Strong people leadership and communication skills — you know how to lead from the front.
  • Solid understanding of Lean methodologies, Kaizen, and warehouse management systems (ideally paperless).
  • Demonstrated experience leading large, multi-shift teams in a fast-paced distribution or industrial environment.
  • A commitment to safety, compliance, and sustainability at every level.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field (preferred).
