The Opportunity

Love diagnostics? Know your way around mobile plant machinery? Thrive in a fast-paced, high performing workshop? We want you on our Wacol Team.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, repair and maintain machines with confidence and precision.
• Use Komatsu systems (Dynamics, LinkOne, SMAP) and Microsoft tools to deliver accurate reports and timesheets.
• Support major, site-based maintenance projects from start to finish.
• Put safety first — every job, every time — aligned with Komatsu HSE policies and Golden Rules.
• Work closely with Workshop Supervisors, Parts, Tech Services and fellow technicians to deliver outstanding results.

Shift hours: 5am to 2pm, Monday to Friday with OT as required.

What you bring

• Trade qualification as a Mobile Plant Mechanic or Heavy Diesel Mechanic  (or equivalent).
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across all types of mobile plant equipment.
• Solid experience with hydraulic diagnosis and repair.
• A strong safety mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a high-performing team.
• A current Manual driver’s licence and forklift licence is advantageous.
