The Opportunity

An opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our Regional Parts Team in Brisbane has become available. 

Your relevant trade qualification and heavy vehicle technical skills will be an essential part of your success in this role, along with your communication skills and ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.

Mining experience would be advantageous; however, it will be your attention to detail, ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, and customer service focus that will be essential in achieving positive outcomes and meeting targets .

Reporting to the Regional Planning Supervisor, your role will focus on providing parts and or component maintenance planning for equipment owned by allocated Mining customers in Queensland. 

This role is based in the Komatsu office at Wacol.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Relevant vehicle maintenance trade qualification (essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional Customer service support and a passion for continuous improvement
  • Experience using MS Excel at a basic to intermediate level

 

Highly regarded:

  • Knowledge of Komatsu’s range of equipment
  • Experience using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems)
  • Intermediate computer systems skills with computer systems such as the Microsoft suite/ Dynamics 
  • Mining equipment and/or site experience
