The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our Regional Parts Team. Reporting to the Regional Planning Supervisor, the purpose of the role is to provide parts/component maintenance planning for equipment owned by allocated Mining customers in QLD.
By displaying exceptional customer support , the successful candidate will be responsible for understanding customers’ strategy through regular communication, reflect planning intentions in the fleet management systems while working with internal stakeholders to provide timely and professional response to customers requirements and enquiries
Roster: Monday to Friday

Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Relevant trade and/or engineering qualifications
- Significant experience in maintenance planning/scheduling within mining and/or earthmoving operations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to demonstrate exceptional Customer service support and a passion for continuous improvement
- Experience using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) , AMT type preferred
- Strong computer mainframe experience including Microsoft suite, SAP/Dynamics
- Highly organised Person who is focused on positive customer outcomes; with the ability to interact with internal departments in a busy environment enviroment by building and consolidating professional relationships at all levels
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills
- Provide customer feedback during critical points of a job and able to proactively champion potential solutions/projects autonosmisly or as part of the team, in order to meet targets and reviewed timeframes
Would be highly regarded
- Intimate knowledge of Komatsu’s range of equipment
