The Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for a Technician – Field Service Remarketing to join our Sherwood team, supporting Remarketing operations across the Northern Region. This role is ideal for a trade-qualified technician looking to broaden their experience across used‑equipment diagnostics, repairs, and rebuild activities.

You’ll be carrying out mechanical diagnostics, repairs, testing, and adjustments across a range of equipment. The role also supports used‑equipment appraisals, coordination of repair scopes, and collaboration with parts, service, and sub‑contractor partners. You’ll self-manage your workload, ensure accurate reporting, and contribute to safe and efficient work practices.

 

 

Roster: 4:3 Roster – Tuesday to Friday (6:00am to 4:00pm)

Hourly Rate: $48 – 52 an hour base, plus super, plus tool of trade vehicle + $120/week FST allowance.

Role Location: Sherwood

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant trade qualification (Diesel Mechanic or equivalent).
  • Strong diagnostic and repair capability across mechanical systems.
  • Ability to manage jobs end‑to‑end, including parts, sub‑contractors, and timelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical reporting.
  • Positive, reliable work attitude with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • 5+ years’ trade experience in heavy equipment or similar environments.
