The Opportunity:

We're looking for an Instructional Designer who can transform complex technical information into engaging, practical, and impactful learning solutions that support our technicians, apprentices, and operational teams across Australia, New Zealand, and New Caledonia.
Whether it's eLearning, virtual training, technical workshops, videos, simulations, or on-the-job learning resources, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of technical capability at Komatsu.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing engaging technical and operational learning solutions
- Developing eLearning, microlearning, instructor-led and virtual training programs
- Working with SMEs to capture and translate technical knowledge into practical learning experiences
- Managing learning projects from concept through to deployment
- Evaluating training effectiveness and driving continuous improvement
- Supporting safety, compliance, and capability initiatives across the business

What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working with technical training documentation and manuals IE, mechanical, automotive or adjacent
- Experience in supporting / migrating paper-based training and documentation to E-learning platforms and modules
- Experience with an LMS system – preferably Articulate 360
- Experience in adult learning principles & learning frameworks
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills across all levels.
- Strong general systems and presentation building skills
