The Opportunity:
This is a major senior leadership opportunity to oversee Komatsu’s Service, Parts and Product Support operations across Mt Thorley, Gunnedah and Mudgee, leading a team of 175 people and driving operational, customer and financial performance across the region.
As a 100‑year‑old Japanese global OEM with 3300 employees across Australia and New Zealand, Komatsu continues to grow through innovation, safety leadership and world‑class customer support. This role is central to delivering that value across three strategically important mining communities.
Based at Mt Thorley, you will travel regularly to Gunnedah and Mudgee to ensure consistent service delivery, strong customer relationships, disciplined financial management and a high‑performance team culture. You will work closely with mining customers, senior account managers and regional leaders to deliver safe, efficient and profitable operations.
Role Located: Mount Thorley (with regular travel to Gunnedah & Mudgee)

What we are looking for:
- Minimum 5 years’ combined experience across Parts and Service in mining, construction or heavy equipment
- Proven senior leadership capability managing large teams and contractors
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving profitability
- Excellent communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills
- Ability to identify growth opportunities and enhance regional performance
- Experience in WIP control, inventory management and operational leadership
- Ability to build a safe, high‑performance culture aligned to Komatsu values
- Diploma in Management (or equivalent experience)
