Workshop Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Mobile Plant Mechanic

The Opportunity:
We're currently seeking an experienced Workshop Technician to join our Rental Fleet team in Truganina, Victoria.
This is a hands-on workshop role supporting a fleet of approximately 120 rental machines. You'll be responsible for servicing, repairing, refurbishing and rebuilding equipment to ensure it is safely returned to service and ready to support our customers.
A significant portion of your work will involve machine return inspections, delivery inspections, fleet servicing, major and minor repairs, refurbishment projects and end-of-life machine rebuilds. You'll gain exposure across a variety of construction, utility, quarry and selected mining equipment.
Working within a supportive team environment, you'll play a key role in maintaining fleet reliability while delivering work to Komatsu's industry-leading safety and quality standards.
Roster: Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:00pm with monthly RDO
Annualised Wages: $43.93 - $49.69 per hour + Super + Overtime (Double time)

What we are looking for:
- Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel, Mobile Plant, Truck Mechanics, Road Transport, Light Vehicle or similar.
- Experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment.
- Experience working on earthmoving equipment, mobile plant, trucks or trailers highly regarded.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
- Computer and technology literacy.
