The Opportunity
Join our team in our Truganina location as Trades Assistant and become part of a safety-focused, collaborative group of professionals who are deeply passionate about their work. In this role, you'll encounter a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities that will keep you engaged, challenged, and impactful at every turn. You'll be responsible for pressure washing and detailing machines, undertaking general cleaning duties, and providing support to service and parts personnel as needed. You may also have the chance to assist with general yard hand tasks such as loading/unloading trucks, conducting pre-start checks, and weekly maintenance of used equipment.
Beyond these tasks, you'll help identify and implement continuous improvements to processes and tooling, ensuring our operations remain efficient and effective.

Role details
Roster: Monday – Friday + (overtime available and paid at double time!)
Role location: Trugania, (Western Suburbs), VIC
What you'll bring:
- Driver's Licence: Must have a driver's licence and be able to obtain relevant high-risk licences (e.g., forklift, rigging, EWP).
- Equipment Handling: Capable of safely handling equipment and communicating effectively with internal departments and customers.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to follow risk assessment and hazard identification processes.
Preferred Experiences:
- Rental/Hire Yard: Experience in rental or hire yards, with a preference for those from the heavy vehicle/mobile plant rental.
- Detailing/Wash Bay: Experience in detailing or working in a wash bay, with consideration for candidates from the automotive trade.
