We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Systems Lead to join the Supply Chain Performance and Innovation team, based in Fairfield, NSW or Wacol, QLD. This role sits at the intersection of Supply Chain, Operations and Technology, helping Komatsu identify where systems and technology can improve the customer experience in aftermarket. You’ll work closely with Supply Chain, Parts Sales, Service, and BTS teams to understand business challenges, identify opportunities for improvement and develop practical technology solutions that deliver real value.

 

A key focus of the role will be leveraging digital technologies, automation and system capabilities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort and solve business problems across the supply chain. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, D365 or similar enterprise systems and automation technologies will be highly regarded.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Shape the roadmap for supply chain systems and digital improvement opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes through technology, automation and system enhancements.
  • Design, develop and implement technology and automation solutions that simplify processes, improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.Lead system delivery and improvement projects, working across Supply Chain, BTS, vendors and other business stakeholders.
  • Analyse user and process gaps, troubleshoot system issues and develop practical solutions that improve the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Support ERP, MRP, supplier integration and supply chain visibility initiatives, considering the broader impact across connected systems.
  • Manage system vendors and support the ongoing performance and development of supply chain applications.
  • Explore emerging technologies, including AI, and translate them into practical use cases that create measurable value for KAL.Develop business cases, process maps and documentation to support future system capabilities and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for

  • Has experience delivering, implementing or supporting business systems and technology solutions.
  • Has hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Has strong problem-solving skills and enjoys finding practical solutions to complex business problems.
  • Is curious, resourceful and willing to look outside the traditional way of doing things.
  • Understands how business processes and technology need to work together.
  • Can identify opportunities to automate, simplify and improve existing processes.
  • Has experience working across cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders.
  • Can translate operational requirements into practical technology solutions.
  • Has strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.
  • D365 experience is advantageous.
