The Opportunity: Based at the workshop in Mackay, we are currently seeking skilled Diesel Fitters to provide mechanical and electrical technical maintenance to Komatsu machinery and equipment whilst ensuring a high level of customer service.

Annualised Wages: $115 075 - $124 139 plus allowances

Role Located: Mackay

What we are looking for:

• Excellent communication skills both written and oral to effectively communicate with customers and personnel at all levels.
• An excellent understanding and commitment to Safety
• Must have a working knowledge local and mine specific, Environment, OH&S, and Industrial legislation.
• Ability to analyse technical problems and suggest remedies.
• Ability to read and understand Electrical and Mechanical Drawings
• Ability to work safely under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Current drivers licence
• Previous experience with Komatsu equipment including Electrical Drive Off Highway Trucks
• Sound Trouble Shooting Skills
• Previous exposure to KAL Maintenance and Operational Policies

Qualification/s

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter or equivalent.
• HRWL Forklift (mandatory) and Doggers licence (desirable but not necessary).
