Due to continued growth, we have an opportunity for a Technical Support Representative to join our team at the Mackay Mining branch of Komatsu.

 

Reporting to the Fleet Manager, you will provide technical support to site reliability team and customer key stakeholders, with a focus on resolving technical issues and helping to maximise equipment availability, reliability, and productivity on Komatsu Electric Drive Truck products on a focus customer site.

 

By delivering technical assistance to Komatsu customers, you will play a key role in enhancing technology and improving equipment reliability.

 

Salary: $150,000

Location: Mackay Mining branch

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities we're Looking For:

 

  • Provide hands-on technical support in the field, working alongside service technicians to resolve equipment issues and maximise reliability and productivity.
  • Investigate and report on major technical or reliability issues by observing machine performance and preparing accurate technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and factory representatives, sharing insights through SQIS and the National Tech Log to drive ongoing machine improvements.
  • Take part in continuous improvement projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and engaging with the QLD Engineering team when required.
  • Manage warranty and product support by preparing and submitting TI/TSI/QTQA reports in a professional and timely manner.
  • Role Located: Caval Ridge Mine site based role
