We are seeking a Customer Support Representative (Parts Interpreter) to join our Launceston branch. This is a varied role where you'll support customers both over the phone and at the counter while managing parts interpretation, quoting, ordering, receiving and dispatch activities.

Working closely with customers, technicians and internal stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring parts are supplied accurately and efficiently while also assisting with warehouse and storeperson duties.

Role Located:  Launceston, Tasmania
Roster: Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:00pm


What You Will Do

  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email and front counter enquiries
  • Interpret parts requirements and prepare accurate quotations
  • Process customer orders and coordinate parts dispatch and receiving activities
  • Support inventory management and warehouse operations
  • Operate forklifts and assist with storeperson duties as required
  • Work collaboratively with branch employees to achieve customer outcomes
  • Uphold Komatsu’s safety, governance and compliance standards

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in parts interpretation, parts sales or customer support
  • Exposure to mobile plant equipment, trucks, trailers or automotive industries
  • Strong communication and customer relationship skills
  • Ability to multitask across customer service, sales and warehouse activities
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Current driver's licence required
  • Forklift licence highly regarded
