The Opportunity:

 

As a Service Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day coordination and delivery of branch service operations, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with Komatsu standards. You will lead technicians, manage workflow and resources, monitor performance against key service KPIs, and build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and coordinate daily service operations to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all service activities comply with Komatsu Golden Rules and OHS&E requirements.
  • Manage Work in Progress (WIP) and maintain job ageing targets below 60 days.
  • Oversee warranty processes to achieve 100% claim compliance and KPI performance.
  • Monitor technician utilisation and minimise lost time across the team.
  • Coordinate resources including technicians, parts, contractors, and equipment.
  • Identify training needs and support the ongoing development of team members.
  • Maintain a professional workshop environment and presentation of company vehicles.
  • Uphold the Komatsu Customer Support Charter and drive a customer-first culture.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

 

Role Located:  Kalgoorlie

Roster: 5:2, 38 hours per week 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Proven experience in a Service Supervisor, Leading Hand, or similar leadership role.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge within the heavy equipment, mining, construction, or related industry.
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a positive "can-do" attitude.
  • Availability to provide support for after-hours service requirements when needed.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or SAP.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Heavy Duty Trade Qualification (essential).
  • Current and relevant trade certification.
