The Opportunity:
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Branch Administrator to join our Gunnedah Service branch. This is a hands-on role providing critical administrative and clerical support to the Branch Manager, technicians and wider team.
You’ll be the backbone of the branch managing payroll support, timesheets, purchase orders, safety documentation, onboarding and general office coordination. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being the go-to person who keeps everything running smoothly, this role is for you.
Role Located: Gunnedah, NSW (Monday to Friday)
Key responsibilities:
- Payroll support including timesheet processing and weekly payroll coordination
- Ordering, issuing and maintaining registers for employee PPE
- Processing purchase orders and assisting with supplier follow‑ups
- Maintaining safety, compliance and certification records (SharePoint, Damstra, Pegasus/Onsite)
- Staff and contractor onboarding, training bookings and accommodation coordination
- Fleet administration and general branch coordination
- Reception and customer service support, including phone enquiries
- General office administration including calendars, stationery, freight audits and branch facilities support

What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in an administration or branch support role
- Strong data entry and coordination skills, with high attention to detail
- Confidence supporting payroll, purchase orders and compliance documentation
- Solid Microsoft Office skills and ability to manage multiple systems
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work autonomously while supporting a wider team
- A current driver’s licence
- Experience with SAP payroll administration or working in a technical/service environment will be highly regarded.
