The Opportunity:

 

Our Goonyella site team is searching for our next AHS Site Specialist to join a cutting-edge Autonomous Haulage operation.

 

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced mining technology while supporting our customer.

 

You’ll support site operations and autonomous haulage systems, prioritising downtime events, working across maintenance, production and technology teams, and helping deliver reliable outcomes in a mining environment powered by cutting-edge automation.

 

We're looking for a safety-minded, adaptable individual with strong communication skills, solid mine site experience, and genuine enthusiasm for learning about autonomous technology.

 

You should be comfortable working effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and personalities.

 

Role Located: Goonyella mine – FIFO ex Brisbane or Cairns

Compensation: $187k - $193k + Bonus + Super

Roster: 7:7 rotating days & nights

What we are looking for:

  • Trade Certificate Required
  • Experience working on Komatsu fleet, ideally 830E and 930E equipment, highly regarded
  • Ability to work effectively in an embedded, customer-facing environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with different personalities and teams
  • Ability to prioritise downtime events and support operational outcomes in a busy site environment
  • Genuine interest in learning and growing expertise within Autonomous Haulage System support operations - this role offers significant opportunity to develop skills in emerging mining technology
