We're looking for a motivated Field Service Technician to join our Gladstone workshop team, maintaining and repairing industry-leading earthmoving equipment while supporting some of Australia's most important industries.
What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing earthmoving equipment
- Completing servicing, inspections, and breakdown repairs
- Producing accurate service reports and documentation
- Ordering and managing parts requirements
- Supporting apprentices and sharing technical knowledge
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship
Role Located: Gladstone or Rockhampton
Roster: 7:7 day shift with the occasional night shift
What we are looking for:
You'll be a trade-qualified technician with:
- Experience repairing and maintaining heavy earthmoving equipment
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- The ability to work independently and manage your workload
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with Komatsu equipment and systems (highly regarded)
Desirable
- Experience with Komatsu equipment or electric drive trucks.
- Exposure to mining or heavy industry environments.
You will be required to obtain a coal board medical and S11 certification.
