Supply Chain Business Support
About Us
At Komatsu Australia you’ll be part of an inclusive culture where all our people thrive, reflected in our purpose: creating value together. We encourage people with diverse backgrounds to apply for this role.
The Opportunity
Komatsu is looking for a proactive and adaptable Supply Chain Business Support Coordinator to join our team at our Fairfield Head Office.
This isn't your typical admin role. You'll sit at the heart of our Supply Chain function, supporting activity across spare parts, warehousing, logistics and strategic initiatives while working with stakeholders across Australia and the wider region.
What will you be doing?
No two days will necessarily look the same. You'll be the go-to person who connects the dots, keeps actions moving and helps our Supply Chain team operate effectively.
You'll:
- Coordinate and maintain Supply Chain performance reporting, ensuring information is accurate and delivered on time.
- Prepare reports, presentations and documentation for meetings and business initiatives.
- Coordinate meetings, activities and communications across the Supply Chain network.
- Support our National Supply Chain Managers with business initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
- Work with regional stakeholders across Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia and Papua New Guinea.
- Coordinate freight cost allocations and assist with Supply Chain expenditure reporting.
- Manage shared communication channels and help resolve day-to-day operational enquiries.
- Support projects, business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Look for smarter ways to improve processes, communication and the way we work together.
What we are looking for
You're an all-rounder who gets things done. You don't necessarily need to be a Supply Chain expert, but you'll need to be comfortable working in a busy operational environment where priorities can change, and people rely on you to keep things organised.
You'll ideally bring:
- Strong administration, coordination and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with data.
- Great communication skills and the ability to build relationships across different teams.
- A proactive mindset – you see something that needs doing and take ownership.
- Confidence preparing reports, presentations and business information.
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Exposure to Power BI.
- An understanding of logistics or Supply Chain operations.
- A willingness to jump in, help out and learn along the way.
Why work for us!
- Families Policy: 16 weeks of paid primary carer parental leave, 4 weeks of secondary carer leave, plus many more family friendly benefits.
- Financial: Income Protection Insurance provided through our company superannuation fund.
- Career: Recognition, awards, flexibility, further education studies and internal career development.
- Health: Corporate discount with Bupa, Total Wellbeing Solution with Telus Health.
- Travel: Discounts with Avis, Qantas, Crown, IHG and travel agents.
- Yearly Bonus: Potential to receive a yearly bonus.
- Referral Program: $3000 referral payment for referring a successful new employee to Komatsu.
