The Opportunity

We're seeking a mechanically minded professional, to contribute to the development and maintenance of service job standards used across our branch network in Australia and New Zealand.

 

In this role, you'll help define the standard tasks, parts and labour requirements for equipment repairs and maintenance activities. Your work will support service teams in preparing consistent job lists that enable accurate quoting and a uniform customer experience, no matter which branch performs the work.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical background who is looking to transition into a specialist support role that combines product knowledge, service process understanding and attention to detail.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and update service job standards in internal systems for repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Research parts, task sequences and standard hours using relevant factory and technical information.
  • Prepare job lists that enable branches to build consistent service quotes and estimates.
  • Works closely with internal service teams to support standardisation across locations.
  • Reviews technical requirements for component removal, replacement and related service activities.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement of service support processes and standards.

What we are looking for

  • Possess a mechanical trade background or equivalent heavy industry technical experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of component removal, fitment, and repair processes – desirable.
  • Experience in heavy equipment, trucking, agriculture or a related industry is highly regarded.
  • Background in roles such as tradesperson, planner, coordinator, supervisor or parts-focused technical support will be considered.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and apply it to service planning and job standard development.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, consistent documentation.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
