Are you an experienced accountant who thrives on diving deep into financial data to drive strategic decisions? Join Komatsu Australia's Management Accounting team as a Management Accountant - Operations and play a vital role in our purpose: "creating value together".
As a Management Accountant, you will be a key business partner, analyzing and interpreting financial results to support our PDI, Reman, and Fabrication operations. You will work closely with operations teams and commercial and regional managers, providing valuable insights and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Location: Fairfield, NSW
Role: 14 months Fixed Term Contract
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing comprehensive financial and operating reports to support business planning and performance management.
- Conducting monthly reviews and analysis of the Reman, PDI, and Fabrication businesses.
- Assisting in the coordination and preparation of consolidated Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Capital Expenditure budgets.
- Performing detailed analytical reviews of the Work in Progress (WIP) balance and preparing reports for management.
- Communicating complex financial data to non-financial managers and advising on the financial implications of business decisions.
- Participating in projects related to PDI, Reman, and Fabrication, including user acceptance testing, training, and report creation.
What we are looking for:
- CPA or CA Qualified
- Working knowledge of SAP and other ERP packages
- Strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics
- Degree certified from recognized learning institution.
- Strong written and verbal communications skill
- Demonstrated experience in high level of reporting in previous positions
- Proven ability in presenting and influencing
- Data analysis and insight
- Advanced Excel skills (desirable skills on visual basic and macros)
- Power BI skills (desirable skills on reporting and visual representation creation)
