The Opportunity:

As a Data Steward, you’ll play a key role in ensuring Komatsu’s product master data is accurate, consistent, and trusted across the business. Working within our Product Data Management & Governance team, you’ll translate governance policies into practical rules, workflows, and controls that support enterprise‑wide data quality.

You’ll partner with product teams, IT, governance leads, and business stakeholders to maintain data integrity, resolve data issues, enhance metadata and lineage, and support the creation of a single, reliable source of product data. This role is central to Komatsu’s digital transformation and offers strong opportunities to grow your skills in MDM, AI‑driven rule management, and enterprise data governance.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in data governance, data quality, or master data management
  • Ability to apply business rules, validations, and workflows in MDM platforms
  • Exposure to AI‑driven data tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT)
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
  • Understanding of metadata, lineage, and data lifecycle processes
  • Clear communication skills and a passion for improving data integrity
