The Opportunity
Step into a hands-on role assembling Komatsu OEM equipment in our Utility Central area. You’ll handle everything from base machine assembly and fitting customer-specific options to performance testing—all while meeting Komatsu’s highest quality standards and following Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and installation guides.
- Assemble and test Komatsu equipment to top quality standards.
- Meet production deadlines and targets efficiently.
- Follow standard work procedures and suggest improvements.
Roster: Monday to Friday - 38 hours per week (overtime available)
Location: Fairfield, NSW
Rate: $75,800 - $101, 800 pa (dependent on your level of experience) plus Tool Allowance $800 per year
Your knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification.
- Full driver's license.
- License or ability to obtain forklift or overhead Gantry certificates.
- First Aid certificate is desirable.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience in utility, construction or mining machinery environments.
- Strong trouble shotting and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and understand customer needs.
- Willingness to complete pre-employment medical and random drug testing.
- Complete timesheets and documentation accurately and on time.
- Take direction from Leading Hands, Supervisors, and Production Managers.
- Foster a positive, respectful team environment, free from bullying or harassment.
