The Opportunity
As a Leading Hand – PDI, you’ll support the supervision and coordination of assembly and commissioning of Komatsu machinery, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time and to the highest standard.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and coordinate a team of technicians and apprentices.
- Oversee assembly, commissioning and PDI activities.
- Plan, schedule and allocate work to maximise productivity.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
- Monitor job progress, costs and quality outcomes.
- Maintain strong communication with customers and internal teams.
What we are looking for
- Trade qualification (essential).
- Previous leadership exposure or experience with the ability to delegate.
- Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment.
- Professional self-starter, with attention to detail.
- Ability to lead, coach and develop a team.
- Strong focus on safety, quality and efficiency.
- Forklift licence (desirable).
