The Opportunity

Komatsu’s Fairfield branch is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to lead and develop our high‑performing team of mobile plant technicians. This is a pivotal leadership role focused on safe, efficient field operations, strong customer relationships, and supporting your team to deliver exceptional service.

For someone with strong technical experience in mobile plant equipment, this is the perfect opportunity to step up from Leading Hand into a Supervisor role. You’ll be off the tools, leading people, coordinating daily operations, and shaping the performance and culture of your team.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead a team of 7+ Field Service Technicians — coaching, mentoring, and supporting performance
  • Coordinate daily field operations including workflow, resourcing, and scheduling
  • Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Komatsu standards
  • Build trusted customer relationships and ensure high‑quality service delivery
  • Support technical problem‑solving and escalate complex issues where required
  • Manage reporting, job costing, and operational KPIs
  • Champion continuous improvement across field service operations


What we are looking for:

  • Experience with mobile plant equipment (essential)
  • Previous experience mentoring, leading or supervising technical teams
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Strong problem‑solving and technical understanding of heavy equipment
