The Opportunity

A newly crated role based at our Fairfield branch we are currently seeking a Coorindator for the Diesel Particulate Filter section to support the effective planning, coordination, and execution of component rebuild activities. 

 

You will report to the Regional Support Manger and you will have exceptional administration and coordination experience.  To excel in this role you will have strong organisational skills, time management with the ability to multi-task, prioristise and laisie with a range of stakeholder to increase operational efficiency and focus on continuous improvement to meet and exceed business and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory planning, forecasting, and replacement of components
  • Oversee job lifecycle: opening, costing, resolving formula/core/serial issues, and closing jobs.
  • Handle component introductions, including part number creation, formulas, and routing data.
  • Approve local purchase requisitions for consumables, tooling, and subcontracted services.
  • Provide technical and supply chain support to regional teams and liaise with global teams for non-standard parts information.
  • Approve contractor timesheets and support leading hands with apprentice time management.
  • Support quality, warranty, and compliance processes for rebuilt components.
  • Drive improvements to reduce stockouts and urgent build needs through better planning and process control.
  • Develop and maintain the assembly schedule
  • Provide regular updates to the Planning Lead on the status of new equipment deliveries, ensuring visibility of any potential risks or delays. Proactively inform the Planning Lead and Utility Stock Controller of any delays in equipment deliveries, providing potential solutions to maintain alignment with the delivery schedule.
  • Monitor and communicate any schedule delays, ensuring timely updates and revisions to accommodate unforeseen circumstances.

What we are looking for:

  • Inventory & Supply Management – Skilled in forecasting, stock control, and core/component lifecycle management.
  • ERP/MRP Systems – Proficient in job management, BOMs, and transactional accuracy.
  • Technical Understanding – Strong grasp of parts, specifications, and rebuild processes is desirable.
  • Planning & Organisation – Able to prioritise tasks and align supply with production needs.
  • Problem Solving – Proactively resolves issues and identifies process improvements.
  • Communication & Collaboration – Builds strong internal/external relationships and communicates clearly.
  • Quality & Compliance – Ensures adherence to quality, warranty, and policy standards.
  • Initiative & Accountability – Takes ownership, adapts to change, and delivers results.

 

Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
