The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Customer Support Representative for the Emerald branch on a 12 month fixed-term contract. As the Customer Support Representative, you will in conjunction with the Emerald Service and Parts Departments to achieve excellent Customer Service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all parts queries, orders, transfers and sales are processed in a timely manner ensuring the Customer Support Department meets the operational standards set by Komatsu and the CSC (Customer Support Charter) through;
- Performing weekly checks of outstanding Service Department (Parts Customers as required) orders to ensure that all backorders will be supplied within the shortest possible lead time.
- Compiling and presenting weekly reports to assist with Service job scheduling
- Maintaining the work in progress (WIP) Parts register.
- Encouraging and processing Service part credits in a timely manor.
- Completing warehouse duties on occasions to offer a higher level of customer service.
- Establishing and maintain channels of communication with all CSR’s and Service Department contacts
- Assisting other company personnel with client enquiries.
- Participating in efficient and evolving work practices to improve the efficiency and profitability of the parts departments.
- Ensuring all Customer parts orders are processed in a timely manner providing exceptional customer service
- Assisting other employees including, Supervisors and Management on Parts related technical, logistical and procedural inquires where required.
- Being an active member of the team to assist with refining processes and procedures to improve the efficiency of the day to day running of the Department.
What we are looking for:
- Current driving license (forklift license will be advantageous).
- Well-developed numeracy, written and oral communication skills.
- Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 knowledge not required, but highly regarded.
- Sound working knowledge of earth moving equipment and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Trade qualification/s will be highly regarded.
- Parts interpreting experience in a high-volume, fast paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills & with an attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise competing work tasks.
- Comprehensive understanding of parts sales & supply chain
- Experience in inventory control and warehouse systems
- Ability to communicate with customers at all levels while providing a professional service.
- Intermediate computer skills specifically Microsoft suite
- Ability to identify & upsell or escalate addition parts, service & sales opportunities where required.
